1. Read Block 1, Unit 1 and Unit 2, Theorizing nation. Do you agree that the debates on nation and nationalism should be critically evaluated from feminist perspectives? Write any suitable examples which you have read in this context from any Indian languages to substantiate your arguments.

2. Do you think that nationalism and masculinity are interlinked in nature? What is the relationship between nationalism and representation? Explain each of them with the help of examples.

3. Discuss the intersection of gender, diaspora and popular cinema by reading Unit 2 of Block 5. Substantiate your arguments by watching any movie related to this topic as well.
